Exploring Excellence: A field visit to YFC Rurka Kalan Sports Academy

My recent visit to YFC Rurka Kalan Sports Academy in Punjab revealed why it's celebrated as a top sports training centre. From its impressive facilities to it's dedicated staff, the academy exemplifies excellence in athletic development. As part of my field visit to the prestigious institution, I was eager to uncover the secrets behind it's success and to see firsthand how it cultivates top athletes. What I discovered was a blend of passion,state of the art facilities, and a dedicated team committed to shaping the future of sports.

Arriving at YFC Rurka Kalan, I was immediately struck by the academy's impressive infrastructure. The sprawling campus houses and arry of facilities designed. The academy boasts a well maintained football field. They provided us some snacks which shows the kindness of the academy.


More than just a football club, this incredible NGO is beacon of hope for the community, fighting against drug abuse, improving sanitation, and nurturing young talent. From empowering the youth through sports to driving social change in agriculture, environment and beyond, the club is truly transforming lives.


During my visit, I had the opportunity to speak with the founder member Sandeep Singh. He explained the academy's philosophy. I also spoke with some young football athletes there, they shared there journey, highlighting the personalized training and the supportive community of YFC Rurka Kalan. They show me there rooms where they live and there school also where they study.


My visit to YFC Rurka Kalan Sports Academy was both enlighting and inspiring. The dedication of the coaches, the quality of the facilities and the drive of the athletes all contribute to the academy's reputation as a top tier training centre. For anyone passionate about sports and looking to understand the essence of elite training, YFC Rurka Kalan is a remarkable example of excellence in action.


After that we explored the village and went to the beautiful GURUDWARA Dera Baba Chinta Bhagat Ji the place was so peaceful. We had langar there. The day was filled with capturing moments, learning and exploring.
